WHAT CAN BE FOUND:

The Parque Marino del Pacífico is a place where is possible to learn and rest. It is located in Puntarenas city, on the Paseo de los turistas, 500 mts East of Cruise ship dock, in the old railroad station, two hours from San José, the Costa Rica’s capital.

When visiting the Parque Marino del Pacífico will find animals in outdoor exhibition under the care of the Rescue Program, such as crocodiles, ground turtles, sea turtles, pelicans, and others.

Also, you will have the opportunity of watching 22 fish tanks with different samples of sea animals, among them puffers, anemones, crabs, sea stars, frog fish, clown fish, nurse shark, etc.

On weekends you will have the opportunity to enjoy our touching pool, a beautiful experience for kids.

Enjoy the green areas, the play garden (includes a pool for children), water games, and others.

Finally, the Souvenir Shop and the Cafeteria; two independent projects under responsibility of local women associations, who operate in the Parque Marino , and which receive the support of this institution.

A DAY WITH US

In the Parque Marino we will be glad of receive you. Join us from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 to 5:00 pm (luntil 4:30 pm last entrance).

Our personnel will be in charge to offer the instructions for no missing any attraction in the park, or he will guide by our facilities previous reservation.

OUR SERVICES

Guided tours. It consists in visiting the Park with the help of a guide, who will be informing about the Park and the animals that will find.

In Addition … In the Parque Marino we offer information about bus schedules, masses, hotels and restaurants. Also, a free lockers service.

• Date and time of arrival to the Parque Marino.
• Amount of people by categories (children, adults, senior, handy capped people, students).
• Kind of service prefered.
• If it comes from a educational institution, it is necessary an stamp of the place.
• Name of the responsible person

Reservations most be done at least 5 (five) days before the visit.
